Saline nicotine liquids reviews: tested in Liverpool (2026) (v5)
Saline nicotine liquids advice for Liverpool, covering airflow control, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Liverpool shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
The Liverpool market for saline nicotine liquids has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Charging over USB-C takes about 41 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Hcigar Akso earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 25 and recharges over USB-C.
The build quality on Hcigar Akso is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over USB-C takes about 41 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Comparing this against a 80:20 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 2.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1554 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 80:20 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Crimson Red finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 80:20 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Liverpool
Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
